Visit to Bridgehall Library to meet an Author & Illustrator

The children in Year 2 will be attending a children’s author event on Monday 18th November 11.00am at Bridgehall Community Centre

On Monday 18th November, Stockport Libraries are delighted to welcome local children’s book author / illustrator, Jane Preece, to Bridgehall Community Centre.

Jane is an engaging storyteller, so she is going to read a couple of her stories using various props to bring the stories to life.

In addition to this, she’ll be sharing some of her original artwork with the children and talking to them about the writing, illustrating and publishing process.

Jane’s ambition is to share her passion for storytelling and illustration with a wide audience.

She loves to inspire future budding authors and illustrators with her “Author / Illustrator” visits to schools and community groups.

Jane’s books normally retail at £6.99, but they can offer a special price, for signed copies, if you purchase books through school.

The books can be bought at £6 each or two for £10 / three for £15.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the books, please let the office know your child’s name and the title/s that you require by Friday 15th November.

Please can you also bring in the correct money in a named envelope, so that we can pass this directly on to the author on the day of her visit?
